Multivitamin preparation for birds
The basic preparation for all bird species contains all essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals and trace elements for a long and healthy bird life. Daily supplementation is highly recommended as a preventative measure, as an undersupply of these nutrients in birds is usually hardly recognised or is recognised too late. In our experience, the majority of all illnesses are due to inadequate feeding and the associated nutrient deficiencies - NEKTON-S is an easy way to counteract this. Nekton S has been successfully used by zoos, animal parks, breeders and private bird lovers for over 40 years.
NEKTON-S contains all essential vitamins and is additionally enriched with amino acids, minerals and trace elements. An undersupply of vitamins (hypovitaminosis) is hardly recognisable in birds, but can lead to considerable damage to health or even premature loss of the animal over a longer period of time. Approximately 90 % of all diseases in birds are caused by inadequate feeding.
NEKTON-S supports the metabolic processes in the bird's organism and significantly increases the utilisation of all nutrients ingested. NEKTON-S has been used extremely successfully for over 35 years in zoos, animal parks, by breeders and by private pet owners worldwide. NEKTON-S is administered daily via the drinking water and is very popular with birds.
Ideal in combination with NEKTON-MSA (mineral supplement) and NEKTON-E (for breeding).
Feeding recommendation
1 g NEKTON-S to 250 ml water or 100 g soft food.

- Sprinkle on food
One level measuring spoon (enclosed) corresponds to 1 g NEKTON-S.
This supplementary feed may only be fed to birds up to 5 % of the daily ration due to the higher content of vitamin D and trace elements compared to complete feed.
