Shipping within Germany
We ship your order reliably with DHL or DPD. Shipping costs are based on the total weight of your order and the resulting number of parcels.
We charge a base shipping rate of 4,90 €. For orders with a merchandise value below 50,00 € a one-off low-order surcharge of 3,00 € is added.

An order with a total weight of 40 kg is split into two parcels. For orders with a merchandise value of €50.00 or more, the total shipping cost is therefore 9,80 €.
Frozen Products & Temperature-Sensitive Goods
Frozen products are shipped exclusively via DPD Express. Standard parcel shipping is not available for these items.
To ensure product quality during transport, the following express options are available depending on weather conditions:

During periods of high outdoor temperatures, the express option with delivery by 6:00 p.m. may be temporarily unavailable because the risk of transport-related damage is too high.
If weather conditions do not allow safe transport while maintaining product quality, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend the shipment of frozen products and live feed entirely. This decision is made solely in the interests of animal welfare and to safeguard product quality.
In such cases, we will contact affected customers as early as possible to agree on the next steps, such as a later shipping date or an alternative solution. As soon as temperatures once again allow safe transport, orders will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible.
An insulated polystyrene box is required for shipping frozen products. Depending on the box size, additional costs of between 5,60 € and 6,60 € per box apply.
The insulated box provides the best possible protection during transport and helps ensure that your order arrives in excellent condition. The cost is calculated according to the required shipping volume and shown on the invoice.
Frozen products are shipped from a minimum order quantity of 3 litres. Different varieties may be combined to reach this minimum quantity.
Live Feed
For orders containing live feed only, the maximum shipping weight is 10 kg per parcel.
At outdoor temperatures of 25 °C or above, the maximum pack size for worms is limited to 500 g or 750 g to protect animal welfare during transport as effectively as possible.
Shipping Days
Orders containing frozen products or live feed are generally shipped from Monday to Wednesday, subject to weather conditions and public holidays. Express shipments can generally be dispatched up to and including Thursday .
Our aim is for your order to arrive safely, fresh and in the best possible condition. We therefore reserve the right to adjust shipping days in the event of exceptional weather conditions.
International Shipping
We are also pleased to ship internationally. The applicable shipping rates, payment methods and delivery conditions are listed in the country overview below.
The prices listed below are the base shipping rate per commenced 30 kg.
For orders with a merchandise value below 50,00 € we charge an additional one-off low-order surcharge of €3.00 per order. This surcharge is charged once per order, not per parcel.
Example: For two parcels shipped within Germany and a merchandise value below €50.00, the total is 2 × €4.90 base shipping plus the one-off €3.00 low-order surcharge, resulting in 12,80 €.
