First aid kit for nestlings - with special species-appropriate food, food tweezers and leaflet
- new recipe!
- rich in valuable insects
- with special feeding tweezers and leaflet
The nestling food has been developed together with wildlife rescue centres, carefully tested and successfully used for years.
Anyone who finds a helpless young bird or an injured bird in distress is often faced with the problem of how to feed it correctly and promptly. In an emergency, our first aid kit bridges the lack of fresh insects.
The nestling food, developed in close cooperation with wildlife centres, provides the necessary first aid for survival in this case. It is extremely important to follow the enclosed leaflet carefully to avoid incorrect feeding!
The new formulation of the food primarily contains the vital animal proteins in the form of insects that a "nestling" (still naked young bird) needs in its first days of life. The nestling food is ideal for most native wild bird species: for soft feeders such as thrushes, redstarts, tits, woodpeckers etc., as well as for grain eaters such as sparrows, bullfinches, siskins and linnets.
We recommend the rearing food for wild birds as a follow-on food for branchlings
