Probiotic for birds
NEKTON-Biotic-Bird is a probiotic for all bird species. The probiotic bacteria it contains support the enzymatic digestion of food in the crop and intestines of birds. Prebiotic ingredients naturally promote a healthy composition of the crop and intestinal flora. Important minerals, called electrolytes, support the bird's body after gastrointestinal illnesses with diarrhoea.
The supplementary feed NEKTON-Biotic-Bird helps with digestive disorders, accelerates regeneration after illness and helps to build up a good and healthy intestinal microflora after antibiotic treatment. It also has a detoxifying effect on the organism.
NEKTON-Biotic-Bird can also be given in preparation for stressful situations (e.g. transport or visits to trade fairs) in order to counteract excessive strain on the bird. Stress can have a negative effect on the composition of the intestinal flora and often causes digestive problems. NEKTON-Biotic-Bird can have a supportive effect on the bird's organism in such situations. NEKTON-Biotic-Bird can also support the digestion of food during breeding and thus optimise the absorption of nutrients.
The feed supplement with probiotics contains a mixture of mannan oligosaccharides and β-glucans, which has been proven to promote the growth of positive intestinal bacteria and also relieves the immune system by binding harmful substances in a natural way.
NEKTON-Biotic-Bird can be combined very well with other products.
Feeding recommendation:
1 level measuring spoon (1 g) per 100 ml of water or 100 g of soft food
- Dissolve in water
- Sprinkle on food
- As a cure: a probiotic cure twice a year over a period of up to 12 weeks, daily
- As a tonic and for low stress: 2 to 3 times a week, all year round
- During breeding and moulting: 1 to 2 times a week
- After illness, antibiotic treatment or medication - up to 7 consecutive days
Young birds (from the 5th week of life): 1 g per 200 g of food or 200 ml of water. From the age of 3 months, the dose can be increased to 1 g per 100 g soft food / 100 ml water.
